Crime is a very interesting word, simply meaning “an action or omission that is an offense and punishable by law.” A “Criminal” is someone who commits a crime. If you are reading this, you have not come to a complete stop at every stop sign or only used crosswalks to cross the street. In some Khaleeji (Gulf) countries, driving in a dirty vehicle is a criminal offense. Yet, I doubt you or people would consider themselves criminals, despite committing crimes.
